“her ghost speaks not for itself from the painful womb of reincarnation”

The year 1956                 a 26 year old Ireta Campbell
come from home island of Jamaica to Altrincham, Manchester.
She is to be a nurse.              To be an inspiration to her brother and sisters.
To be a support to her nieces and nephews                             children and grandchild.                                      But for now she is training to be a nurse and midwife.
She is to help women give birth to children for 30 years.

Orville and Ireta the perfect, loving couple            giving birth to twins             Ann and Andrew giving them the perfect family

That family is to be broken by the deaths of a beloved husband and son                       but Ireta is strong,                  she will carry herself and her                                                 daughter through this tough time

She is to be the best friend her daughter and granddaughter could ask for
making them laugh with wit and a bright smile

she is also to be the second of the ‘three amigos’ to die
having already lost Ruby
and leaving Lucille on her own.
